The Halo Infinite multiplayer technical preview officially finished yesterday, August 2, after three full days of testing. Don’t worry if you didn’t obtain an invitation for the initial multiplayer test; 343 Industries will hold at least another in the near future.
The next multiplayer test for Halo Infinite has yet to be announced by 343 Industries, however you must be a participant of the Halo Insider programme to be considered.
The Halo Insider support site will close after the multiplayer preview ends. Social media users questioned why 343 won’t keep the site up for a few more days so that others could comment. According to community manager John Junyszek, this really is valuable feedback, and one potential test option is to notify the community when access to the site expires earlier.
343 Industries have said: “We’re thrilled that so many of you are excited to dive in and check out what we’ve been hard at work on. Bearing in mind that the upcoming tech preview is truly a work-in-progress test, we want to make sure that you have all the information on hand so that you know when and what you are playing, where to deliver feedback, and everything in between.
As of 10AM PT today the #HaloInfinite tech preview has concluded. To all the Spartans that hopped in, thank you for joining us in this crucial phase of testing! We couldn't have done it without you.
Brian Jarrard, the Halo Infinite community director, thanked fans for taking part in the test and explained some of the next steps.
“So, what next? We have teams across the studio digging into game data, crash logs, bug tickets, and feedback threads to turn into actionable items as warranted. Good news is, with this build being a couple months behind, many common issues/themes are already addressed,” Jarrard said. “A subset of participants will receive an official user research survey via email – please keep your eyes out for this! It’s another way to help us get targeted input and your response is greatly appreciated. (not everyone will receive a survey given scale of this flight).”
Please ensure you include all of the needed information – 343 previously cautioned that many incomplete Halo Insider profiles had been started, putting people at danger of missing out again on beta flights.
Bots Teabagging in Halo Multiplayer
343 released an update featuring ODST difficulty bots and a new level, Recharge, after the technical preview premiered with bots that seemed rather simple. These bots are vicious, precise, and persistent. We wouldn’t argue they behave like actual players; their movements have a robotic quality to it that differs from how humans move their characters.
This dedication to keeping these bots as “natural” as possible, on the other hand, implies that they’ve been intended to pull off some more sinister in-game moves here too.
It appears that the bots in Halo Infinite would go to great lengths to teabag opponents once they’ve been defeated. although being AI-controlled, these bots appear to still be trying to pull off manoeuvres that Halo gamers been doing since Halo: Combat Evolved.
